Custom Structured ASIC

GigOptix Custom Structured ASIC inherits many of the benefits from Structured ASIC while offering the same IP selection as Standard Cell.  It is especially suitable for ASSP (Application Specified Standard Product) where a family of products is derived from a master design to serve different markets and standards.  Once the master design is done, the customer can create derivative ASICs without modifying the base layer by utilizing metal configurable X-cells in the logic fabric.
